Admission to KG1, KG2 & KG3 can be taken from October 1st onwards for the next academic year. There will not be any entrance test. An original birth certificate issued by the Govt. authority along with an attested copy of the same must be produced.

The "Balvatika (Kindergarten- KG)" program under the CBSE framework, as articulated in the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, is a significant step towards enhancing early childhood care and education (ECCE) in India. The program focuses on holistic development through play-based and activity-oriented learning, ensuring that children are prepared well for their formal education.

Eligibility Criteria for Kindergarten

• 1. KG 1 Admission:
  - Age Requirement: Children must be between 3 and 4 years old as of the admission date.
• 2. KG 2 Admission:
  - Age Requirement: Children should be between 4 and 5 years old as of the admission date.
• 3. KG 3 Admission:
  - Age Requirement: Children must be between 5 and 6 years old as of the admission date.

Registration forms for admission to the above classes will be available in the school from October 1st onwards every year. There will be an entrance test on the Second Saturday of March. Admission will be based on merit alone. Students seeking admission should bring:

• (i) Transfer certificate from the previous school (Std III and above only)
• (ii) If he/she comes from a state outside Kerala, TC must be countersigned by the Education Officer.
• (iii) Passport size photograph of the student.
• (iv) An attested copy of the birth certificate.

1. 1. The working hours of the school are from 8.45 am to 3.20 pm
2. 2. All pupils should attend the class on every working day, neatly dressed in the prescribed uniform. Any alteration in the stipulated uniform or dress code contrary to the norm and practice, shall invite disciplinary action.
3. 3. School ID card must be worn by every student without any fail.
4. 4. English is the medium of language in the school premises.
5. 5. Names of pupils who are absent without notice for more than a week will be removed from the rolls.
6. 6. When a pupil is absent, he/she should produce a leave note before attending the next class. This note should be signed by the parent/guardian. Pages are provided in the school diary for this purpose.
7. 7. Students should consider school as their own and take care of all its properties. Any damage done to the property of the school should be repaired by those responsible.
8. 8. Students should always be punctual and keep their classrooms and premises clean.
9. 9. A pupil is liable to be dismissed in case of grievous misconduct, irregular attendance, habitual idleness, disobedience and malpractice in the examination.
10. 10. Students should observe silence and order as they move from one class to another as and when it becomes necessary. Pupils should not run, play or shout inside the classroom.
11. 11. Students may use the school telephone with the permission of the Principal, in case of emergency.
12. 12. No student is allowed to leave the school premises before 3.20 p.m. In case he/she wishes to leave, his/her parent/guardian shall get prior permission of the principal.
13. 13. All students should be present in the classes before 8.45 A.M. Coming late to school/class is considered as a serious offence. Attendance is taken at the beginning of both sessions.
14. 14. Absence on the days of feasts, celebrations and so on will be strictly dealt with.
15. 15. Money should not be lent or borrowed by any student.
16. 16. Mobile phones and other electronic gadgets are strictly prohibited inside the school premises.
17. 17. The Principal will be the final authority in all matters concerning discipline.
